AhlulBayt News Agency: Mamusta Mohammad Mohammadi, prayer leader of Sunni community in Ravansar, Kermanshah province explained the views of holy Qur’an on solidarity among Muslims and highlighted unity among hearts as a necessity.
Top Iranian Sunni scholar referred to the various ways recommended by holy Qur’an to boost solidarity in the Islamic nation and called that the same rightful path that Hadith, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his companions ushered Muslims to .
“According to the Holy Quran the unity within the Ummah is giving rise to the immunity of the religion, divine confirmation, victory and it is the blessing that nothing can be compared to” said the senior scholar.
He expressed regret over the disunity among Muslims calling that a calamity for the world of Islam.
Mamusta Mohammad Mohammadi added,” No religion like Islam has called people to brotherhood and fraternity to lay the foundation of unity and solidarity, cooperation and collaboration strongly.”“Unity is the key to success” noted the Sunni scholar and added,” Before thinking of the establishment of unity among Muslims, Islam firstly intended to deal with causes of division and discord then establish and promote philosophy of monotheism and also the relevant discourse among them.”
He warned that,” division and enmity would lead Muslims to hell, eliminate dignity of Muslims, discouraging Muslims to follow Islamic causes and also spread of disorder are some of the consequences if the discord among Muslims is not settled.”
He also noted that deviation from the divine path and disbelief in Islam as other repercussions for not settling division in the Islamic nation.
He also enumerated the following mechanisms in order to boost solidarity in the Islamic ummah:
1-Giving priorities to the commonalities
2-Holding fast to the divine rope
3-Referring to the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (pbuh)
4-Respecting fraternity rights
5-Moving in favor of reconciliation
6-Preventing insults to sanctities and provocative discussions
7-Promoting and spreading social justice in the society and reducing the gap between different religions
8-Enhancement of public culture and knowledge to prevent emergence of religious fanatism and extremism
9-Embarking on scientific interaction with intellectuals of different religions
10-Showing peaceful behavior to followers of different schools
11-Exchanging recommendations and embarking on cooperation based on the goodness and piety
12-Striving for establishing further unity and intimacy with the followers of other religions
13-Dealing with the major problems of the Islamic Ummah
14-Ignoring and forgiving and showing tolerance regarding all issues that might lead to further division and conflict in the society.
