The Department of Hussayni Rituals and Processions issued more than (12) thousand IDs and guarantees for processions entering the Holy Karbala to commemorate the Ziyarat Al-Arba'een ceremonies.
The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel Abdul Hussein al-Yasiri, said that "an operations room was formed to organize and coordinate the work of the mourning and service processions participating in the ceremonies of the Ziyarat Arba'een this year, and the issuance of IDs and legal guarantees for them in cooperation with the Holy Karbala Police Directorate".
He added that this work "is considered one of the most important legal and regulatory procedures for the work of processions during the Ziyarat Arba'een, in order to ensure the organization and coordination of their work and preserve their general contexts".
The province of Karbala issued official documents confirming that "the ritual Department of the Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas's (p) holy shrines is the only official and legal body concerned with organizing and documenting the work of Husseini bodies and processions and issuing legal identities and guarantees in cooperation with the security services.
Regarding the mechanism of work, Al-Yasiri pointed out that "the Department's representatives deployed in the governorates have worked to register the processions wishing to participate in this Ziyarat for service and condolences, and have provided us with their data for the purpose of unifying and entering them in the database of the processions department, after which the authorization and identity are issued, which is considered the approval document to practice these rituals".
