Delegation from Karbala participates at conclusion of international Imam Hussain day conference in India

A delegation from the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussain and al-Abbas (peace be upon them) participated in the conclusion of the 30th session of the International Conference on the day of Hussein (peace be upon him), which was held in the Indian city of Bangalore under the slogan (face hate with love).

"At the end of its activities, the conference witnessed the dedication of the banners of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother al-Abbas (peace be upon them) by the delegation of the two holy shrines, in the presence of many representatives of Indian religions and sects," said the delegate of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him); Dr. Saad al-Din al-Banna.

According to al-Banna, the delegation participated in a blood donation campaign launched by the International Organization (who is Imam Hussein (peace be upon him)), on the sidelines of the conference, which was attended by 50 thousand donors to donate their blood in the Blood Bank of all sects for the sake of the name of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and on behalf of all humanity.

For his part, the delegate of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, engineer Talal Mohammed Ali Alber, said that the delegation visited a number of husseiniyahs in the city and the banner of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) was raised and presented in those husseiniyahs, including a Husseiniyah in Bangalore, a Husseiniyah in the city of Ali Ke Dor, and a Husseiniyah in the city of Ani Ali. Also some blessings and symbolic gifts from the two holy shrines were given.".

He added that "this initiative came in order to communicate with the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) outside the country, and instill the spirit of coexistence with other religions in the Indian subcontinent," adding that this festival witnessed the presence of a number of participants from other sects and they gave their speeches about their love for Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and his positions that are immortalized by history.
