AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In the 7th General Assembly of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the status of reason in Islam, Hojat al-Islam Naim Qassem stated, “Belief is not achieved by blindly imitation. Rationality is very important. Throughout history, the tradition of AhlulBayt (a.s.) has been followed.”
“After the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Islamic Republic has adopted a method other than communism and capitalism, which is due to Islamic rationality. A rational path requires following the Quran and the AhlulBayt (a.s.),” he continued.
“Velayat-e Faqih plays a major role in the unity of the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school. In order to spread our religion, we must strengthen our commonalities in this direction,” added the Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah.
Explaining the position of Velayat-e Faqih, Naim Qassem stated, “Ayatollah Khamenei followed the path of Imam Khomeini, and helped to resist global arrogance. Iran has supported liberation and resistance movements, and Martyr Soleimani played an effective role in this field.”
“Palestine is the center of Muslim unity and confronting oppression. Imam Khomeini designated Quds Day as an international day for the oppressed against the arrogant,” he continued.
“The axis of resistance played an outstanding role, and Lebanese Hezbollah has been able to change the equations of the region. Today it can be said with certainty that Israel is declining. Everyone should continue to perform his duty,” added the Deputy Secretary-General of Lebanese Hezbollah.
Considering the unity as a basic issue, Naim Qassem stated, “Both the unity of the followers of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school, and the unity of Muslims are important. Differences between denominations should not prevent the unity of Muslims.”
“We should consider unity as the basis of our work. Because the Islamic unity caused the defeat of ISIS. Hezbollah is a role model for unity with different groups, centered on Resistance,” he continued.
“In Lebanon, the disputes between the AhlulBayt (a.s.) followers have been resolved and others envy this unity,” he emphasized.
