AhlulBayt News AGency: On Monday evening (1st Safar 1444 AH), the ceremony of raising the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) was held at the external host complex of the Al-Abbas's( p) holy shrine, marking the reception of the guests of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his mourners coming to perform the blessed Ziyarta Arba'een.
The ceremony, which witnessed the presence of a number of members of the board of Directors of the holy shrine, the heads of its departments, some distinguished scholars and a group of believers, began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by the reader Laith al-Obeidi, and the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, and then played the hymn of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (the Pride's Melody).
Then came the speech of the general secretariat of the holy shrine, delivered by Sayed Adnan Gelokhan al-Mousawi from the Department of Religious Affairs, which stated: "year after year, we are honored to meet in this blessed place, which bears the name of the greatest personality after al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) on the day of at-Taf; Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in order to raise this distinguished banner, marking the beginning of the season of Hussayni service, waiting for the arrival of visitors so that this Hussayni house can provide them with the best services in terms of food, drink, accommodation and other services," he added, "the flag of the host complex is being raised today so that the visitor can be guided by it to reach this blessed and distinguished host complex."
After that, the audience went to raise the banner of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which was stamped with the phrase (Peace be upon you, Standard Bearer of Imam al-Hussayn peace be upon him), which was raised accompanied by a hussayni poem by the late Hamza al-Sghayer.
