Call of papers for 36th International Islamic Unity Conference

The secretariat of the 36th Islamic Unity Conference has announced the axes for papers to the annual event which is scheduled to be held concurrent with birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad in mid-October.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The secretariat of the 36th Islamic Unity Conference has announced the axes for papers to the annual event which is scheduled to be held concurrent with birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad in mid-October.

Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has announced the axes for papers to 36th Islamic Unity Conference with the theme “Islamic Unity, Peace and Preventing Division and Conflict in the World of Islam, Practical Solutions and Operational Measures”.
 
The annual event for 2022 will discuss the major issues of Muslim world in four major sections: Fair War and Peace, Islamic Fraternity and Counter-terrorism, Compassion and Islamic Sympathy and Avoiding Tensions and Conflicts as well as Normalization or Relations with Occupying Israeli Regime.
 
The subjects announced in the first section “Fair War and Peace” include definition of fair war and peace and a review of the scales for each, similarities and differences of Islamic Jihad and war in view of Islamic denominations and also strategies for fair peace and preventing war among Islamic countries in view of Qur’an and Sunnah.
 
In the second section Islamic Fraternity and counter-terrorism, the subjects include: ways to promote Islamic fraternity and moral virtues in coexistence of Muslims, Reasons, motivations and repercussions of assassinating elites, scientists and activists in the world of Islam and ways to confront the issue, state terrorism and international agreements to confront the issue, constructive role of NGOs and Islamic and state organizations in preventing assassination.
 
The third section titled “Islamic Compassion, Sympathy and Preventing Tensions and Conflicts” will admit papers on the following subjects: Reasons and Grounds for tribal and ethical conflicts in the world of Islam and ways to confront them, studying grounds for conflict in the Islamic countries and solutions for that, Designing and promoting models for compassion and sympathy among Muslims in natural catastrophes and time of crisis.
 
In the last section “Normalization of Relations with Occupying Israeli Regime” the subjects comprise: normalization of relations with Israeli regime, unforgivable treachery to resistance and Palestinian nation, Effects of normalization of relations with Israeli regime on regional equation of power and also behind the scenes in normalization of relations with Israeli regime.
 
The secretariat of the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference announced that the papers on the topics will be reviewed and classified in the four sections and presented at the annual event to be held in mid-October.
 
Following two years of virtual meetings of the Islamic Unity Conference, the 36th International Islamic Unity Conference will be held in presence and online sessions concurrent with Islamic Unity Week, October 9-14, 2022.
 
The online meetings will begin on October 9 and end on the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and a number of Iranian and foreign guests will attend the meetings in presence on 12-14 October.
