Iran’s success in controlling Covid-19, under microscope of World Health Summit

The head of the International Charity Foundation of Muslim Physicians said, “Iran’s achievement, as a country that has decreased the number of victims of Covid-19 from 700 per day to single digits, will be considered in the World Health Summit.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The head of the International Charity Foundation of Muslim Physicians said, “Iran’s achievement, as a country that has decreased the number of victims of Covid-19 from 700 per day to single digits, will be considered in the World Health Summit.”

The Special Assistant to the Minister, and the Director General of International Cooperation of the Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education, said, “The World Health Summit is a good opportunity to exchange views on health achievements, and Iran, as an independent country, has participated in the summit.”

Announcing the participation of the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the World Health Summit, which is held annually to review the health priorities of member states in Geneva, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Niknam stated, “The World Health Summit will address issues of global health priorities, including the successful experience of the Islamic Republic of Iran in controlling Covid-19, and general vaccination in the country.”

Regarding the signing cooperation documents or health agreements with other member states participating the summit, the Director General of the International Cooperation of the Iran’s Ministry of Health and Medical Education and the head of the International Charity Foundation of Muslim and AhlulBayt (a.s.) Lover Physicians, said, “The signing of documents or cooperation agreements is not on the agenda of this summit and no document will be signed in it. However, health experiences and achievements will be discussed. Also, Iran’s achievement, as a country that has reduced the number of victims of Covid-19 from 700 per day to single digits, will be considered in the World Health Summit.”
