Intl. Quds Day great movement to confront Zionist arrogance: Ayatollah Ramazani

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “Thanks to Imam Khomeini (r.a.), International Quds Day has become a great movement to confront the global Zionist arrogance.”

The webinar “Palestine; our first cause” was held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, on the eve of the International Quds Day, by the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and with the participation of the Center of the United Ummah.

In this webinar, referring to the International Quds Day, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “We are on the eve of a big and important day called International Quds Day. The day when, on the wise and courageous initiative of Imam Khomeini (r.a.), with the aim of providing spiritual and propagational support to the Palestinian people against the Zionist occupation, was declared as the International Quds Day. Thanks to Imam Khomeini, International Quds Day has become a great movement to confront the global Zionist arrogance.”

“As Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and the Supreme Leader have said, the cause of Palestine is the most important and living issue of the Islamic Ummah. Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and must be governed by their will by a referendum of all Palestinian religions and ethnicities. Certainly, the Zionist system, which is a heresy in Judaism and completely foreign to it, must be vanished; the usurper regime, which from the first day with the usurpation of Palestine and Holy Quds, turned this country into a base of terrorism against the Palestinian nation and other Muslim nations. Therefore, fighting this bloodthirsty regime is fighting oppression and fighting terrorism, and it is a public duty,” he continued.

“Among the crimes in human society in the last century, there is no crime of this magnitude and severity to usurp a country, and its people to be expelled from their ancestral homes and lands forever with the most heinous types of murder and crime, which truly shows a new phase of cruelty and satanism of this self-made sect. By referring to the 24 protocols of the Zionists, it becomes clear that the root of these cruel behaviors originates from those beliefs. In such a way that the usurping Zionists consider themselves the superior race and religion and do not value any other religions and human beings, and in order to achieve their goals, they consider any action and crime permissible. Therefore, they are establishing their own system of domination in order to place themselves as the ruler of the world,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the role of the West in the establishment of the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The Western powers, which were the victors of World War I, and which divided the region of West Asia (that they referred to as Middle East) at the Paris Conference as spoils of war, are responsible for the formation of this cancerous tumor. Unfortunately, international organizations have made no effort to prevent the crimes of this child-killing regime, despite their humanitarian, righteous and liberation claims. Therefore, the duty of all individuals and Ulama of Islam is not to remain silent in the face of these crimes and to fulfill their religious and legal duty.”

“Relying on their abilities, with all their might from the position of power, the zealous and religious Muslims must face the cruel Zionist regime. Because a bloodthirsty enemy cannot be spoken to except with authority and position of power. We should not forget how the regime, whose army once set up a bloodbath in the Sabra and Shatila camps, after several years was forced to retreat with heavy casualties in the face of the Lebanese Hezbollah’s striking blows. To help this holy jihad, the Islamic Ummah has no choice but to continue the struggle and organize the jihadist organizations,” he continued.

“Today a new order is taking shape in the world, and the old one, which was formed after World War II, is fading. After the conspiracies that took place during these years in the region of West Asia and North Africa, which in fact were supposed to distract the Resistance Front and give the Zionist regime a chance, the Palestinian Cause is again under the spotlight of all concerned and free thoughts of the Islamic world,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the change in the balance of power in favor of the Islamic world, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “Today, the growth of the resistance forces in terms of defense and attack, and the increase of their self-confidence and self-awareness in the most sensitive Islamic regions, has changed the balance of power in favor of the Islamic world. Therefore, the desperate efforts of some puppet governments in the region to implement the failed “Deal of the Century” plan and normalizing relations with the usurping regime will not succeed. Rather, like the efforts of Pharaoh and other tyrants, it will accelerate the downward and declining of the Zionist enemy regime.”

“The emergence of the Resistance Front has made things difficult for the Zionist regime, and it will become even more difficult, God willing. But supporters of the regime, led by the United States, will use various tactics to increase the defense of this illegitimate regime, as well as hostility to the axis of resistance. Therefore, addressing the Palestinian Cause should not distract us from addressing and supporting other sides of the Resistance Front, including Yemen and Bahrain,” he continued.

“The confrontation of the governments of the reactionary Arab countries against the wave of popular will, will not have a good end for these governments. They must remember the fate of the rulers who, in previous years, negotiated with false hopes and compromised with the enemies, and today, the bitter fate of “Camp David” is before them. Therefore, they should be reminded that with these unsuccessful efforts, they will not be able to confront the collective will of their nation, the Islamic Ummah and the freedom seekers of the world,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Referring to the need to mobilize the Islamic world to confront the Zionist regime, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “As the Supreme Leader said, all of us, including statesmen, intellectuals, religious scholars, parties and groups, zealous youth and others, must find our place and play a role in this global movement. During these years, the zealous Palestinian youth have devoted all their efforts to defending the Holy Quds and confronting the extravagant policies of the usurping regime; in such a way that the Zionist regime army, which was once considered an invincible and lightning army, is today forced and doomed to retreat in the face of popular resistance.”

“Today, forming a new Islamic civilization is the goal of every Muslim, and this is achieved through the great capacities of the Islamic nations and the synergy of the Muslim countries, at the heart of which is the Palestinian Cause, which means all the territory of the country and the fate of the Holy Quds. According to the Supreme Leader, this is the truth that led the enlightened heart of the great Imam Khomeini (r.a.) to announce the International Quds Day on the last Friday of Ramadan. It is hoped that the Palestinian people will soon achieve their inalienable rights with the destruction of the occupying regime in Quds,” he continued.

“We ask God Almighty to thwart the plots of the enemies, and to remove this sorrow from this nation, unite them, strengthen their might, dignity, and determination, and bring peace to them. All Islamic countries must turn to Islamic unity, compassion, brotherhood, and love,” concluded the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
