AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Leader of the Islamic Revolution agreed with the terms of pardoning or commuting the punishment of over 1,500 eligible convicts.
On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution agreed with the terms of pardoning or commuting the punishment of some 1,542 convicts.
In a letter to Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the Chief of the Judiciary Ghlamhossein Mohseni-Ejeie had called for pardoning or commuting the punishment of 1,542 convicts who are eligible for amnesty and pardon by the Amnesty and Clemency Commission on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
