AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's Education Minister Yousef Nouri in a letter addressed to his Afghan counterpart stressed the need for safeguarding the lives of innocent children and young adults against the criminal acts of terrorist groups.
Nuri in his letter condemned the Tuesday terrorist attacks in a Kabul school which led to death and injury of a large number of students.
He also condoled with the Afghan nation on the sad occasion.
“The painful catastrophe that took place today in Kabul and the martyrdom and injury of a large number of students was very sorrowful and saddening. While sympathizing with the bereaved family members of the victims and praying for the fast recovery of the injured people, I pray for the salvation of the martyrs’ souls,” he added.
The education minister, meanwhile, stressed the need for Afghan officials’ to safeguard the lives of the innocent children and young adults against the terrorists’ attacks so that such criminal acts will not occur again and the people will send their children to schools with peace of mind.
At least 27 students were killed and more than 100 others were injured in bomb attacks on Tuesday on girls’ schools in western Kabul.
