AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Iranian Cultural Center in Georgia has mounted an exhibition titled “Quranic Days” in the Tbilisi History Museum.
Featuring calligraphy and Tazheeb (illumination) works by Iranian artists, it has been organized on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Iranian envoy Mohammad Qobadirad and cultural attaché Ahmad Ali Mehri Ardestani as well as head of Georgia’s Administration of All Muslims Sheikh Ramin Igidev were present at the opening ceremony.
Mehri Ardestani in ab address said the exhibition is aimed at introducing the Quranic culture via the language of art in the month of Ramadan.
Referring to the cultural commonalities between the two countries, he expressed hope that Iran would organize more programs in Georgia with the cooperation of Georgian cultural centers.
A calligraphy and Tazheeb workshop was also held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
