AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Department of religious affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues to hold a series of lectures, which are offered to visitors to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH) daily before the noon prayer, with religious, guidance and awareness themes during this holy month of Ramadan.
The head of the Department Sheikh Salah Karbalai stated: "The department has developed a reporting and guidance plan to revive this holy month, and we started since the beginning of the holy month to establish these lectures, which are held in the courtyard of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) before the noon prayer, to benefit the largest possible number of visitors.”
He added that "the themes that are addressed in the lectures are diverse based on the Holy Quran and the hadiths of the prophet and his holy household (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon them), which are of multiple topics carrying guidance, jurisprudence, doctrines and Ethics in addition to the rules of worship, while addressing some of the rules of fasting".
"Also, if the lecture corresponds to an occasion, whether the birth or martyrdom anniversaries of our holy Imams (peace be upon them) or a historical incident, it will be addressed and highlighted, and we have intensified this approach during the months of Rajab and Sha’ban, and now in the holy month of Ramadhan and in the future, God willing," He concluded.
