Pakistan Army rejects BBC propaganda story on PM’s ouster

Pakistan Army rejected a story ran by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) related to the ouster of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the events at the PM House in the wee hours of Saturday, Pakistani media reported.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pakistan Army rejected a story ran by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) related to the ouster of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and the events at the PM House in the wee hours of Saturday, Pakistani media reported.

“The typical propaganda story lacks any credible, authentic and relevant source and violates basic journalistic ethos,” the Pakistani media said.

BBC Urdu story published today is totally baseless and a pack of lies, it added.

Imran Khan, the leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s ruling party and Pakistan's 22nd prime minister, faced opposition from lawmakers in parliament, and was forced to step down halfway by a majority vote.
