AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The President emphasised, "The protection of the Islamic Republic is one of the manifestations of gratitude to God. We must plan for the future by learning from the past".
Speaking on Friday in a meeting with a group of social and cultural actors in Khorasan Razavi province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the Islamic Republic Day, and said, "April 3 is a very important and happy day in the history of the revolution. No blessing is higher than the blessing of the Islamic Republic".
The President added, "The system of the Islamic Republic must be protected and its protection is in fact a manifestation of gratitude to the Almighty".
The President added, "Development is not only about the economy, but also development in spirituality, ethics and all human needs, and countries that claim to be developed are developed only in the economy and have problems in human dimensions".
Dr Raisi stated, "We hope to use the experiences of the first 40 years of the revolution, based on the Declaration of the Second Step of the Revolution, to take steps to compensate for the backwardness that has existed so far".
Emphasising that economic work must be accompanied by cultural identity, Dr Raisi stated, "Development in all provinces must be accompanied by maintaining cultural identity".
The President described paying attention to the young generation as an important issue and said, "Imam Khomeini (RA) and the Supreme Leader of the Revolution trusted the young and no problem was seen from this trust".
Ayatollah Raisi emphasised that the provincial trips of the government are far from formalities, and specified, "In the past, special ceremonies and protocols were considered for the provincial trips of the presidents, but we did not do any of these things in the 18 provincial trips of the 13th Administration".
Dr Raisi added, "We go directly from the airport to factories and unfinished projects to solve problems, and government trips have turned from a ceremonial action into business trips".
Referring to the existence of grounds for women's activities in the government, the President noted, "The government welcomes cultural projects presented by women".
Dr Raisi stated, "A lot of time has been spent on 'The Government's Transformation Programme', and many think tanks have played a role in it".
Ayatollah Raisi pointed out, "In this programme, 37 important issues of the country have been planned. The programme addresses challenges and government's approaches".
Dr Raisi stressed the need to observe hijab in society and said, "About 28 agencies are responsible for the issue of hijab. Cultural work in the field of hijab takes precedence over coercive work".
The President emphasised, "A popular government means that the people have an active and serious presence in all sectors".
The President added, "We must increase economic growth, the value of the national currency and the purchasing power of the people".
