AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A rally and protest march in support of Yemen was held today Friday 22 Sha’aban, 1443 (25/3/2022) by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria under the leadership of his Eminence Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky (H) in Kano city, Nigeria.
At the rally, after the Friday prayers Mal Imam Ya’aqub the speaker condemn the atrocities of the Saudi Wahabi government serving world oppressors who for some years are known to have been bombarding Yemen killing and massacring the people of the people of Yemen. He also highlighted that for years now the People of Yemen as a result of this war have been starved and in a state of ill-health due to the weapons used in the killings. He reiterated that with this atrocities Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky has been calling for the support of the people of Yemen and thus we come out to call for world and humane support for the people of Yemen and call for stop to the Saudi government atrocities. Mal Imam also showed the world oppressors and friends alike had kept mute on the atrocities on Yemen only to support Saudi government while claiming to be humane in supporting Ukraine in their war with Russia.
After the rally, a protest march was held along some major street in central Kano city with participants carrying banners, flags of Yemen, while echoing condemnation and the stop to killings at Yemen by Saudi government with Passerby also expressing their support for rallying around the oppressed Yemenis.
The rally and protest march ended peacefully with a short prayer.
