Message of martyrs to country's servants is to serve sincerely, solve people's problems

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of veterans of the Holy Defence along with their families attended the Salman Farsi Mosque of the Presidential Administration and met with the President.

In this meeting, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi described the martyrs as the greatest assets of the country and the support of the Islamic Republic, saying, "The martyrs were among the first to walk the path drawn by the late Imam for the Islamic Republic and their blood is always our beacon to walk down this path".

Explaining the message of the martyrs to the officials and managers today, the President said, "The message of the martyrs to the servants of the country is to serve sincerely and solve people's problems by relying on God and relying on the resources and capabilities of the country".

Ayatollah Raisi added, "The common denominator of the will of all martyrs is the emphasis on following the Supreme Leader in defending the religion and the Islamic Revolution, and today the message of the martyrs is still reverberating in the air and requires a listening ear".

Stating that our martyrs are the continuation of the enlightened path of the martyrs of Ashura, Dr Raisi said, "The memory of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution and the Holy Defence will never be forgotten".

The President added, "The message of the martyrs is always resonant in the world and if anyone listens, they will hear the message of the martyrs, whose message is the message of serving God, defending the sanctity of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, standing against the enemies of religion and revolution, and sincere service to the people".

Pointing out that today the ideals of the revolution and the system of the Islamic Republic are shining brighter than ever in the world, the President said, "Today, everyone is witnessing that the Islamic Republic continues on its path with greatness and independence, and families of martyrs are one of the pillars of the Islamic Republic".

Ayatollah Raisi continued his speech by stating that the enemies and those who shed the blood of the best youth of this land could not achieve their goals, adding, "Anyone who looks at the honour of the Islamic system today and sees the humiliation of Saddam and the enemies of the Islamic Revolution will clearly understand that the ill-wishers of this revolution and the system could not achieve their goals".

The President described serving the families of martyrs and veterans as a precious opportunity that should be used sincerely to serve veterans, mothers, fathers, wives and children of martyrs.

The President called the mothers, fathers, wives and families of the martyrs the proofs of God on earth and said, "We are all responsible for these proofs of God and in the presence of the Lord of the world, we are responsible for preserving the achievements of the martyrs and continuing their path and the least we can do is sincere service to the families of the martyrs".
