AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani said on Monday that Washington's delay in making the political decisions is the main obstacle in the progress of Vienna talks.
"Prospect of a deal in Vienna Talks remains unclear due to Washington's delay in making political decision," Shamkhani wrote on his Twitter account on Monday.
He added that "priority of Iranian negotiators is to resolve remaining issues that are considered in the red line".
“Rapid access to a strong deal requires new initiatives from all parties," he noted.
The talks to lift the sanctions on Iran began on December 27, 2021, and now the success or failure of the negotiations merely depends on the political decisions of the Western sides.
