AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The President called the Ukrainian people victims of the evil policies of the United States and stressed, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is against the war and every day when the war ends sooner, it is in the interest of the nations, and the dangers, injuries and problems of the people are reduced".
Speaking in a cabinet meeting on Sunday, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "Our country's current dignity is indebted to the services of the armed forces".
In another part of his speech, the President referred to the foreign trips of ministers and government officials and, considering the spirit of the trip effective in developing and strengthening relations with countries, and clarified, "The issues that are raised during the trips of government officials to other countries must be seriously pursued so that the nation can use the benefits of these trips".
The chairman of the Supreme National Security Council also commented on the latest developments in the negotiations on the lifting of sanctions in Vienna, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the negotiating team are pursuing the negotiations, but the government has not tied anything to the negotiations, and will not do so".
Stating that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is not all of Iran's foreign policy, but is seen as an issue in this area, and added, "The secret of the government's success in the last six months has been that it has pursued all matters, including issues related to foreign policy and banking and oil, seriously and has not delayed any of them for an agreement to be reached".
In another part of his speech, the President referred to regional issues and the crisis in Ukraine and said, "The people of Ukraine, like the people of Afghanistan, Yemen and Iraq, have fallen victim to the evil policies of the United States".
Ayatollah Raisi pointed out, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, as stated by the Supreme Leader, is definitely against the war, and every day that the war ends sooner, it is in the interest of the region and the nations, and the dangers, injuries and problems of the people are reduced".
Referring to Arbor Day and Natural Resources Week, the President said, "Planting trees has a great role in providing clean air and public health, and the action of the Supreme Leader, who plants a sapling every year, should be a model for everyone".
