Eighty first-time pilgrims from Pakistan visit Imam Reza holy shrine

Thanks to endeavors of Imam Reza holy shrine’s Karamat Razavi Foundation, a group of 80 first-time pilgrims from Pakistan have paid a visit to Imam Reza holy shrine on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Kazim (AS), says Ali Rajabi, manager of pilgrims’ affairs at the Foundation.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Thanks to endeavors of Imam Reza holy shrine’s Karamat Razavi Foundation, a group of 80 first-time pilgrims from Pakistan have paid a visit to Imam Reza holy shrine on martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa Kazim (AS), says Ali Rajabi, manager of pilgrims’ affairs at the Foundation.

Rajabi said: “With respect to consecutive emphasis of Ayatollah Khamenei on necessity of paying attention to the conditions of poor and deprived Pakistani pilgrims and with regard to the special attention of Hoj. Marvi about poor pilgrims of neighboring countries, particularly Pakistan, Karamat Razavi Foundation embarked on identifying poor and needy Pakistani Shia Muslims who had never traveled to Mashhad”.

Stating that identifying these people was on Imam Reza holy shrine’s cultural agents in Pakistan, he said: “This group entered Iran when the process of issuing passports and visas, arranging transportation means, and PCR tests were finished. The group was warmly welcomed at Imam Reza Pilgrim House in Mirjaveh before heading to Mashhad”.

Rajabi went on to say: “Visiting Central Museum and Museum of Anthropology, having a complete e tour of the holy shrine, and enjoying religious programs in Urdu language were some cultural and spiritual programs provisioned for this group of Pakistani pilgrims”.

According to him, the Pakistani group will stay in Mashhad for three to five days before leaving Imam Reza holy shrine for a two-day pilgrimage at Hazrat Masoumeh shrine in Qom”.
