Imam Reza shrine deputy custodian, Pakistani Parliamentarian underline unity against anti-Muslim plots

Boosting unity among Islamic nations is a much needed policy in the fight against plots imposed by the world arrogance, says Malek Rahmati, deputy custodian of Imam Reza shrine in a meeting with deputy speaker of Pakistani parliament.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Boosting unity among Islamic nations is a much needed policy in the fight against plots imposed by the world arrogance, says Malek Rahmati, deputy custodian of Imam Reza shrine in a meeting with deputy speaker of Pakistani parliament.

Islamic communities can stand against oppressive acts of the arrogance front by upholding unity and cohesion as well as employing region’s economic, cultural, and constructive capacities, Rahmati said. “The world’s arrogance front and its allies are trying to funnel domain of activities of Muslim world by imposing cruel sanctions and dividing Muslims. In such a situation, unity of the Islamic world is very much important”.

“Hoj. Marvi, custodian of Imam Reza holy shrine, has always emphasized on the importance of unity of the Islamic nations particularly that of neighboring countries to fight against world arrogance’s conspiracies”, he added.

Rahmati believes that close cooperation and empathy can help Islamic countries to bring peace and wealth for their people”.

Elsewhere in his remarks, deputy custodian of Imam Reza shrine referred to the existing capacities for expanding bilateral relations between Iran and Pakistan, saying: “We support any plan or idea which consolidates bilateral ties and strengthens unity between the two neighboring countries”.

He went on to say: “Employing all its capacities, Imam Reza holy shrine has provided easy pilgrimage for all foreign pilgrims including Pakistani pilgrims. Construction of a big pilgrim house in Mirjaveh is just one of the projects facilitating pilgrimage for arriving Pakistani pilgrims”.

Furthermore, he said, General Directorate of Imam Reza holy shrine has considered a special portico for Pakistani pilgrims in which they can enjoy holy shrine’s cultural programs in their mother tongue.
“With regard to Imam Reza holy shrine’s rich media capabilities, we are ready to cooperate with Pakistani radio and TV channels in broadcasting live programs of the holy shrine and in production of programs on religious teachings,” concluded the official.

For his part, Ghasem Khan Souri called for development of Iranian-Pakistani relations in religious, scientific, and research fields.

“It is necessary for the Islamic countries to fight against Islamophobia throughout the region by consolidating the existing unity,” the Pakistani official pointed out.
