AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Describing the Yemeni people as resistant to the oppression and tyranny of Saudi Arabia, the head of the Islamic Institute of Indonesia said, “Saudi Arabia, which has failed in the military war, seeks to create chaos and instability in Yemen.

Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.

Speaking at the conference, describing the invasion on Yemen as one of the worst catastrophes, Dr. Dina Suleiman, President of the Islamic Institute of Indonesia, said, “In the silence of the world, the United States and Saudi Arabia are massacring innocent Yemeni men, women and children.”

“Their lives are threatened. Reports indicate that the lives of nearly 11 million children and women are at risk and suffering from lack of facilities and food,” continued the head of the Islamic Institute from Indonesia.

“According to reports, global organizations, such as the United Nations, are not even willing to address this issue, let alone resolve it,” she stated.

“Saudi Arabia seeks to create unrest among the people in order to create instability in this country. Meanwhile, Ansarullah movement is helping Yemeni people to resist the hostile actions and violations of Saudi Arabia,” Dr. Dina Suleiman said, explaining Saudi approach.

“On what basis are these measures taken? Does it make sense for a leader (Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi) to regain his legitimacy and return to his country by bombing his people? Does this mean democracy and freedom?” added the head of the Islamic Institute of Indonesia, speaking on Saudi Arabia’s tactic to support Yemen’s dictator.

“As Saudi Arabia, and Western countries led by United States, seeks to exploit Yemen’s resources, many Gulf states have turned a blind eye to violations of the rights of the Yemeni people,” she said, criticizing the destruction of Yemen’s economic and social infrastructure by Saudi Arabia.

“The Ansarullah movement is aware of Saudi policies,” Dr. Dina Suleiman said, “When resistance groups are aware of the reasons for the Saudi attacks, they will never give up and, together, they will thwart Saudi ambitions.”
