AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Describing the attack on the oppressed people of Yemen as planned by the United States and its allies in the West, Fares Najm said, “All these plans and the use of reactionary Arab rulers are to create tension and conflict, and to eliminate the Muslims in the region.”
Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.
Speaking at the conference, while pointing out that the Saudi coalition in war on Yemen was formed with US planning, Fares Najm, the head of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, stated, “The coalition has committed any war crimes and human rights violations against the Yemeni people and has also violated international law.”
“The Saudi coalition is backed by the West, especially the United States. In crimes on Yemeni people, many countries should be blamed, because they provided logistical and planning support for these attacks and left the execution to their puppet in the Persian Gulf. The main perpetrators of this crime are nuclear powers such as Britain, the United States and France,” said the head of the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
“They know that they are to fail in this war and will eventually be recognized as war criminals among the world people. But they do not give up their evil deeds,” he added, giving examples of Western support for the invasion of Yemen.
“All the evidence for these crimes is available and published in the media. But by dominating the United Nations, the United States has been able to avoid convictions and punishments for criminals,” Fares Najm expressed, noting that the United Nations and the pro-Yemeni countries should inform the world about the war crimes in the country.
Referring to the dissatisfaction of Russia and Venezuela with the current situation in Yemen, the head of the Canadian Human Rights Commission added, “These countries are also under pressure. Many people and scholars in Saudi Arabia criticize these crimes. But the Saudi government seeks to destabilize all countries. In its attacks, it destroys all the hospitals and schools in Yemen.”
“In today’s world, killing civilians is a justification for fighting terrorism,” he clarified, “They know they are losing on both sides. The head of the Red Cross came to the region in 2015 and said that he can never forget what he saw. Five months of war in Yemen is equivalent to five years of war in Syria.”
“Many countries at the United Nations, are being paid hush money to remain silent about the coalition’s crimes against Yemen,” Fares Najm said, “These countries, which claim to defend democracy, treat their opponents inhumanely in their own countries.”
“We are talking about those who were tortured and imprisoned for their speeches about the brutal actions of the Saudi coalition in Yemen. We wrote many letters and mobilized many, and we condemned this illegal act. But no one cares about human rights for the Yemeni people and does not take responsibility,” said the head of the Canadian Human Rights Commission.
“Supporting the Yemeni people requires the unity of the Yemen’s supporters,” he stated, “Treatment is now difficult in Yemen and malnutrition is widespread. The Yemeni people, together with Ansar al-Allah, are looking for the future of Yemen, and they hope that by relying on God, they will bring to justice all the societies that have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity. We must become stronger to achieve the necessary result.”
“We must introduce the inhuman governments of Saudi Arabia and its allies to the people of the world. On the other hand, we must create safe areas in Yemen for women, children, and the elderly so that they will suffer less from the war in this country,” Fares Najm clarified.

Fares Najm: Fighting terrorism is an excuse to kill innocents
Describing the attack on the oppressed people of Yemen as planned by the United States and its allies in the West, Fares Najm said, “All these plans and the use of reactionary Arab rulers are to create tension and conflict, and to eliminate the Muslims in the region.”
