AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Describing the crimes against the Yemeni people as unprecedented, Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari, director of the Center for Communication and International Affairs of the seminaries, said, “The Yemeni people send the lesson of self-sacrifice, resistance, patience and endurance to all people of the world.”

Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” was held on Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.

As the 5th speaker of the conference, Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari, director of the Center for Communication and International Affairs of the Seminaries, said, “The oppressed people of Yemen are on the one hand right and on the other hand oppressed and at the same time a powerful nation.”

“The crimes that are being committed today against the oppressed nation of Yemen are unprecedent in history,” said the director of the Center for Communication and International Affairs of the seminaries, expressing the oppression against the Yemeni people.

“Today, many of Yemen’s industrial, educational and scientific infrastructures have been brutally attacked by the invading forces. Also, many universities, schools, mosques, hospitals, manufacturing plants and agricultural fields have been brutally attacked,” he explained.

“More than 350,000 people have been killed over the war years, and many of these victims have played no role in the war. Today, according to the United Nations, more than 30 million Yemenis are suffering from hunger, and nearly ten million of them are in the state of famine and starving, and even the minimum amount of food and medicine are not available to the oppressed people of Yemen,” added Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari.

“Today, the Yemeni people even have no access to fuel. Looking at the pictures coming from Yemen, you can see that the cars are parked along the streets and cannot be moved,” continued the director of the Center for Communication and International Affairs of the seminaries, criticizing the siege on the Yemeni nation.

“The Al-Saud regime and its accomplices have united to destroy a nation and deprive them of their natural rights. These tragedies become more painful when we see that most of the Yemeni people support the National Salvation Government and the Houthis,” he said, expressing concern over the air and sea restrictions on the Yemeni people

“National organizations support the National Salvation Government, and the of Mansour Hadi’s government have not the majority vote and popular support even in the southern regions of Yemen,” Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari clarified, referring to the strong support of the Yemeni parliament for the National Salvation Government.

“If the majority vote is important to you, definitely the majority vote of Yemeni people is with the National Salvation Government. Also, if we take the vote of Yemeni elites as a basis for legitimacy, today the Yemeni elites, groups and the majority of the Yemeni people support the National Salvation Government and the Houthis,” said the director of the Center for Communication and International Affairs of the seminaries.

“The sin of the Yemeni people is their resistance and will against the enemies,” he said, “This nation does not accept the interference of foreigners in its internal affairs. Therefore, because of this will and decision, the Yemeni people are deprived of their natural rights, and the Yemeni children cannot study and go to universities, and the sick and the injured are deprived of the hospital.”

The silence of the leaders and elites of the Islamic world, and the international community, as well as the international media against all these crimes, and not accompanying the Yemeni people, is deplorable,” stated Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari, “The Yemeni people have proved that they can endure the attacks and invasions of foreigners by believing, relying on God, and relying on their national will, bare feet and empty-handed.”

“The Yemeni people are spreading the lesson of self-sacrifice, resistance, patience and endurance to all the people of the world, that if we want, we can stand on our own feet and overcome the deceit of the enemies and their conspiracies,” continued the director of the Center for Communication and International Affair of the Seminaries.

“The resistance of the Yemeni nation is similar to other resistance groups in the Islamic world against global Arrogance Zionist plans,” he said, “Victory is definitely near. Because according to God’s will, whoever helps Him, God will help him. God’s will and divine victory will include the oppressed nation of Yemen.”

“Although the Yemeni people are oppressed, they are right and they are standing up for their legitimacy, and they will overcome these conspiracies with authority and perseverance. The events in Yemen will be a disgrace to history and to international organizations and governments claiming freedom, peace, and human rights. How have they remained silent against all these crimes, against the tens of millions of oppressed people of Yemen? These events will also be an honorary page of history of the Yemeni people,” Hojat al-Islam Hosseini Kuhsari stated.
