Conference “Investigating Dimensions of Aggression against Yemen” / 3

Sheikh Zakzaky: There is no war in Yemen, but crimes in favor of Israel

Calling on everyone to think about the ultimate goal of the Western countries in attacking Yemen, Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaky said, “Doesn’t the ousted president have anyone in Yemen who wants to have mercy on him? The world’s silence in the face of this tragedy is meaningless.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Calling on everyone to think about the ultimate goal of the Western countries in attacking Yemen, Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaky said, “Doesn’t the ousted president have anyone in Yemen who wants to have mercy on him? The world’s silence in the face of this tragedy is meaningless.”

Coinciding with the intensification of the aggression of the Arab-Western-Hebrew coalition in attacking the oppressed people of Yemen, the International Conference “Investigating the Dimensions of the Aggression against Yemen” is being held today, Saturday, February 5, 2022, by the Arbaeen International Foundation in cooperation with the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly and coordinated institutions.

As the second speaker of the conference, while emphasizing that the events in Yemen are not a war, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria said, “War means a military struggle between two military forces. But the events in Yemen are hostility, enmity and war crimes against humanity.”

“All these airstrikes and attacks on civilians, killing men, women and children in their homes, at work place or in their schools, and even attacking children school buses and prisons, attacking hospitals and killing patients, nurses and doctors, does not mean war,” Hojat al-Islam Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaky continued.

“All these crimes are being committed to bring the ousted Yemeni president back to power. But what is really the result of this trade and killing of people?” he expressed, considering the Saudi Arabia and UAE as representatives of the United States, Britain, France and other Western countries in the region.

“If someone wants to bring an ousted president back to a country, and expect the men, women, and children of that country to accept him, is that possible by killing them all? Doesn’t that ousted president (Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi) have anyone in Yemen to have mercy on? Sheikh Zakzaki said, calling on everyone to think about the ultimate goal of Western countries.

“The Western countries are destroying everything, and this is a new plan and conspiracy that has been made to start a world war again, to protect and save Israel,” stated the prominent Nigerian scholar, describing crimes being committed in Libya, Iraq, and Syria as similar to current crimes in Yemen.

“The world’s silence in the face of the catastrophe in Yemen, and the deprivation of the people of the country of electricity, fuel and medical equipment, is meaningless, and everyone should help solve this problem,” he said, calling on all countries to end the catastrophe in Yemen.

“These people are also deprived of medical services. This is a dangerous dilemma for today’s international community. Therefore, it is the right of the Yemeni people to respond to the attacks. Because they are attacked in the worst way,” Sheikh Ebrahim Zakzaky said, considering the war in Yemen as a humanitarian catastrophe.

“The only way for the Yemeni people is resistance,” he said, “We hope that this crisis will end as soon as possible, and that the Yemeni people will win, and that the arrogant forces will be eliminated as soon as possible.”
