AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said the Founder of the Islamic Revolution, late Imam Khomeini (RA) believed in the power and participation of the people.

Speaking on Wednesday morning in the ceremony of renewing allegiance to the great founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the 10-Day Dawn and the victory of the Islamic Revolution, saying: "Trusting in God and involving people were two important principles in the peaceful movement of the great Imam and the interpretation of the Islamic Republic of Iran to religious democracy is the expression of the fact that people are central in the Islamic system."

On the occasion of the 43rd anniversary of the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution and the 10-Day Dawn, the Iranian president and his cabinet members showed their presence at the Imam Khomeini Mausoleum and renewed allegiance with the ideals of the founder of the Islamic Revolution.

Raisi emphasized that Imam Khomeini (RA) believed in the power of the people and their participation, but the world's politicians do not pay attention to the people in practice.

Emphasizing that the people are always present in the scenes of the revolution, Iranian president added: "Wherever there was success, the people were in the scene."

Raisi pointed out: "The Late Imam [Khomeini]'s view of the people was not a ceremonial and political view, but he believed in the presence, participation and power of the people."

Referring to the remarks of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution in the meeting with economic agents, he said: "When the Americans officially declare the failure of their maximum pressure policy against Iran, this is a victory for the Iranian nation, and it shows that the maximum resistance has triumphed over the maximum pressure."
