AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A Turkish aid agency donated some 21,000 copies of the Holy Quran to students in seven African countries last year.
The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation said in a statement that many children and teenagers in different countries around the world have no access to printed copies of the Quran, tr.agency website reported.
It said that in order to meet the need of some of them, the foundation distributed nearly 21,000 copies of the Holy Book in Africa in 2021.
They includes 13,500 copies in Guinea and Mali, 2,900 copies in Chad, 2,000 copies in Ghana, 2,000 copies in Niger and Sudan and 600 copies in Sierra Leone, it said.
The IHH added that the total number of Qurans donated by the foundation to those in need in different countries has reached 263,000.
