AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A senior military advisor to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei underscored that martyred anti-terror commander Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani exposed the lies of the US government and the Zionists in the world, proving that they are vulnerable.
Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, who was speaking for a group of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps commanders on the occasion of the 2nd martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani, said that the martyrdom of General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, the brave Hashd al-Shabi commander, on an order issued by former US president Donald Trump was a rare incidence in the political history.
“That is because a regime that claims to be an advocate of the human rights in the world becomes the state-sponsor of a terrorist act in a third country against a top military commander who was there on an official invitation of the Iraqi prime minister,” he added.
Major General Rahim Safavi, also the head of Sacred Defense Research Center, further said that the US assassination of General Soleimani was condemned in the world public opinion, as well as the public opinion of the Iranian and Iraqi nations and 1.6 billion world Muslims, and even the public opinion of the non-Muslim nations.
He said that although the enemies pursued the objective of weakening the Resistance Front by assassinating General Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, their martyrdom initially turned into massive anti-US rallies in the mourning ceremonies of those martyrs, and later into the shape taking of Martyr Soleimani’s school of thought.
