The Deputy Office for International Affairs of Imam Reza Holy Shrine says the body will actively participate in more international Islamic event.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Deputy Office for International Affairs of Imam Reza Holy Shrine says the body will actively participate in more international Islamic event.

Mohammad Hassan Mohammareh, an official involved in international affairs of Imam Reza holy shrine, pointed to the goals of Deputy Office for International Affairs in Scientific and Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi and the Secretariat of the Holy Shrines Summit, saying, “expanding ties and interactions with the holy shrines in Iraq and Syria in different fields is among our international strategies”.

He noted that Islamic events could be an opportunity to pave the way for those goals. “The massive Arbaeen March is one of the venues for the holy shrines to develop multilateral interactions”.

“Due to Covid-related restrictions, 60 servants of the holy shrine have been consigned to Karbala this year in collaboration with Karbala March Office, Karamat Razavi Foundation, and the Holy Shrine Organization for coordination with service groups”. In addition to the holy shrines capacities in Karbala, Najaf, Samarra, and Kadhimiya, servants of Imam Reza holy shrine provided services including accommodation, transportation, pilgrimage tour, distribution of cultural packages, etc.

Referring to the active presence of AQR in Kadhimiya International Book Fair, the official praised the event as one the most prominent international book fairs hosting all holy shrines each year. “A number of institutes such as Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi, Behnashr (Astan Quds Razavi’s Publishing Institute), Imam Reza International University (IRIU), etc. attended the book fair and presented their products.”

Elsewhere, Mohammareh talked about the annual Imam Bagher Scientific Festival in Hazrat Abbas holy shrine in Iraq, announcing that an institute would definitely represent AQR in the upcoming eighth round of the festival centering on Imam Bagher’s life and conduct, his role in cleansing depravities, economic and mental corruption. “Razavi University of Islamic Sciences will be representing us in the festival and we are going to establish scientific ties with the University of AlKafeel in Najaf.”
