AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The commemoration ceremony of the second martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, martyrs of the Resistance Front and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, was held in the Islamic Center of Moscow, Russia.
The ceremony was attended by many officials, political and cultural figures, students, and students of the Resistance Front from Russia, Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Afghanistan.
In the beginning, Akbari Jedi, by expressing a part of the bravery, self-sacrifice, and sacrifices of Commander of hearts (martyr Soleimani) throughout his blessed life, emphasized his desire for freedom and courage along with the rationality and morality of this unassuming Commander.
Then, Yevgeny Goncharov, one of the Russian security commanders on behalf of the Russian Armed Forces, read a message of condolences of Sergei Vladimirovich Surovikin who is a Russian Armed Forces army general and Commander of the Aerospace Forces.
Following this ceremony, "Kazem Jalali," the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation, described the martyr Qassem Soleimani as a symbol of human life for eternity and him as an everlasting reality.
Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the IRGC elite Quds Force, and the former Deputy Commander of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were martyred along with eight of their companions in the US strike on Baghdad airport on January 3, 2020.
General Soleimani was in Baghdad on the official invitation of Iraq's Government.
