AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Orator of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore hailed the stance of Sunni community in Iran stressing that the Islamic Republic is moving in line with Islamic unity.
Abdul Khabir Azad, orator of Badshahi Mosque in Lahore met with the Iranian delegation led by Sheikh Hamid shahriari in Lahore and hailed the stance of Iranian Sunni minority.
Pakistani cleric referred to the close ties between Iran and Pakistan and expressed hope that moving towards building a unified Islamic Ummah will help settling the issues in the world of Islam.
Head of the Independence Committee in Pakistan referred to the Qur'an verses recommending Muslims to solidarity and expressed hope that all Muslims stand committed to promoting Islamic unity.
He said,"Islamic Republic of Iran is moving in line with unity and that is a great contribution to promotion of Islamic unity in the world of Islam".
Pakistani orator also presented Shiite scholar Sheikh Shahriari with a volume of his book on terrorism.
