AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh here on Wednesday strongly condemned the Zionist regime cabinet meeting held in the occupied Golan Heights of Syria.
He described the "aggressive" move of Zionists as "provoking".
The spokesman further noted that according to the numerous United Nations resolutions especially No 497 passed by the US Security Council, the occupied Golan is an inseparable part of the Arabic Republic of Syria.
The United Nations General Assembly too highlights the undeniable fact every year, he added.
The expansion of settlements and growing number of Zionist immigrants arrival at the Golan region could never alter this reality, Khatibzadeh stressed, noting that the Zionist settlers have to be aware of the fact that they could never be able to live there for good.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman further stressed Iran's unchanging and solid support for Syrian in this regard.
