AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Pointing out that today the young generation in the world is thirsty for spirituality, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “There are three to four thousand fake and counterfeit spiritualities in Europe and America, and they seek to deceive the youth with these fake spiritualities.”
On Thursday, December 2, 2021, in a speech to the instructors of Hey’ats of Imam Reza (a.s.) Union from Alborz and Tehran provinces in Hosseinieh Rezaieh, Qom, emphasizing that we must first learn the religion comprehensively, accurately, and deeply, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani stated, “Human society should pass through superficiality and be deep in terms of religious understanding.”
“Regarding religious knowledge, we are facing superficiality in the international arena. However, if there is a deep understanding, many attributes, such as violence and extremism, will not be related to religion,” stated the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, considering the deep understanding of religion as the duty of a scholar and teacher.
“In order to deepen the knowledge of the people in the field of religion, we must have a comprehensive view of the world and the hereafter towards religious teachings,” he noted, describing Islam as a religion of moderation, rationality, spirituality, justice, and spiritual freedom.
“We must be educated in this world for the eternal hereafter,” Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “Religion does not only pay attention to the individual sphere, and the social rules of religion, if not more, they are not less than individual rules.”
“Religion has come according to the real needs of human beings,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, pointing out that the maximum view is needed towards religion and anything that can play a role in guiding human beings.
“Humans have different needs, and based on these needs, God has presented His law, rules and regulations to mankind through revelation,” he added.
“Prayer has a philosophy and does not only correct the person, but also plays a role in reforming society,” Ayatollah Ramazani pointed out, “Our view and understanding of religion must be precise and profound.”
“In fasting, fasting people understand the concerns of the hungry and thirsty, and in this way fasting can play a role in reforming society,” emphasized the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, referring to the role of fasting in gaining divine piety.
Stating that if religion is properly understood, there will be no more anti-religionism and escape from religion, he said, “Man may escape a misunderstanding, but no one has animosity with the truth, and the essence of religion. He who knows the truth of religion loves it.”
“Many today want to fight against the spirituality of religion and present religion as rigid and stereotypical,” Ayatollah Ramazani clarified, “These people could not fight against the principle of spirituality, so they went for fake spiritualities.”
“There are three to four thousand fake and counterfeit spiritualities in Europe and America, and they seek to deceive the youth with these fake spiritualities,” pointed out the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.
“Today, the young generation in the world is thirsty for spirituality,” he stated.
Referring to a hadith from Imam Sadeq (a.s.) about the training of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) by God, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “When the upbringing of the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) reached the highest level, he gained the “خُلُقِ العظیم” (the greatest morality), and the religion was entrusted to him (by God).”
“One who seeks to become an educator must first have a religious and divine education,” the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly added, “In the field of education, three parts must be trained: body parts, communities and intellect.”
“Sometimes a (wrong) word or a (wrong) look causes the West and the East to go on war,”, he said, emphasizing the control of joints including hands, feet, eyes, and tongue.
Pointing out that an educator should be careful about his behavior with others in addition to the topics mentioned, Ayatollah Ramazani noted, “If a person has a sound heart, he can move forward.”
“We must study and teach well for God,” he stated, “Religion should not be described as rigid and stereotypical. Religion is so beloved that Imam Hussain (a.s.) said about it, “I give my life to revive religion”.”
Referring to the scientific and personal position of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “This prominent figure was one of the geniuses of the seminaries.
