Love, amity, elixir for family stability: Ayatollah Ramazani

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “God said that the elixir for the stability of family is love and amity, and only love and amity are lasting.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “God said that the elixir for the stability of family is love and amity, and only love and amity are lasting.”

During his visit to Belgium, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, delivered a speech at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Brussels.

In his speech to the members of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Belgium, while appreciating the Iranian ambassador to this country, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly said, “We must make the most of the golden opportunity. Before the Islamic Revolution of Iran, there was a theory according to international equations that no religious revolution would take place in the world. But Imam Khomeini (r.a.) mentioned two points. First, Islam has a plan for governance, and second, this program can be realized within its principles, and Imam Khomeini proved this.”

“Revolution means repulsive change. There were many people who did not even imagine that the Islamic Revolution would take place. Even the Islamic seminaries did not believe that the Revolution would occur. But the Islamic Revolution took place,” he continued.

“Our perception of Islam has not been secular or liberal. Because it is not possible to have a governing program based on Islam with these two types of views. Imam Khomeini’s view was that it was possible to have a religious program in the individual and social spheres. Therefore, our individual and social jurisprudence are comprehensive. In his book “Ethical Opinions”, the late Allameh Tabatabai raised important issues about social affairs. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) also believed that individual rules, such as prayer and fasting, can also affect society. Because reforming the individual will lead to reforming society. If the individual is reformed, the family will be reformed, and if the family is reformed, society will also be reformed. Religion has come to reform man in all areas and in all dimensions, and society must attain a relative dignity,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the comprehensiveness of Islam.

“In the first verse that he revealed to the Prophet (p.b.u.h), God introduced himself as the “رَبُّ الأکرم” (the most honorable Lord). The late Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli (r.a.), our great teacher, had a beautiful expression in this regard and said, “We must learn from the Lord so that we can become teachers”. The deceased added that the prophets, the angels, and the Quran are also honorable. According to the verse “وَلَقَدْ كَرَّمْنَا بَنِي آدَمَ” (Certainly We have honored the Children of Adam) (Quran, Surah: Al-Isra, Verse: 70), dignity is inherent in all human beings, and man’s superiority is due to his will, which piety is the criterion of that will. This will and authority must be used properly,” he added.

“God Almighty said in the Quran obey the call of God and the Messenger who called you to come to life. We are alive and we live, we breathe. Therefore, here the meaning of life is not tangible life. Rather, it is a rational life, a life that expresses the philosophy of human existence. The late Hassanzadeh Amoli (r.a.) said, “Man must be called from the sensory life to the intellectual life”, that is, to become wise and reach the status of intuition. If our we strengthen our perception power and understand and act well, our learning will increase. In this regard, Grand Ayatollah Bahjat said, “If a person acts on what he says, he will learn many things”,” continued the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“When we went to visit the Ayatollah Hasanzadeh Amoli, he used to tell us, “I entrust you to God and God to you”. I understood the first phrase, but the second phrase had a point,” stated Ayatollah Ramazani, recalling a memory of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli.

“The role of religious scholars is to proclaim the name of God, and we, ourselves must first believe in this. On his return from a trip to France and meeting with Imam Khomeini, in response to his friends who asked him “What did you see?”, Martyr Motahari replied, “I saw four “beliefs” in Imam Khomeini: belief in his goal, belief in the way, belief in his words, and belief in his God”,” he continued.

“There was God in Imam Khomeini’s creation, and he was not afraid of anyone. According to the hadiths, whoever fears God, everyone fears him, but whoever does not fear God, he will fear everything. We must take care of ourselves and our children. I say to God, “Lord, we cannot claim that we came to world for you. Rather, we were born to have a duty, and we entrust our children to you”,” added the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“God said that the elixir for the stability of family is love and amity, and only love and amity are lasting. According to our teacher, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, in the book “Woman in the Mirror of Divine Beauty and Divine Glory”, man is the manifestation of the glory of God, and woman is the manifestation of the beauty of God. According to the Quranic verses, in the family men and women give each other peace and comfort,” said Ayatollah Ramazani, referring to the importance of love and amity in the family.

“If God is present in our lives, we will reach the desired life. The late Allameh Hassanzadeh said, “The degree of love is the number of verses in the Quran”. The reader of the Quran is told to read, understand and act based on Quran, so that God may help you and improve you. Allameh Hassanzadeh added, “There are Arsh Azim and Arsh A'zam. The Arsh A'zam is the human heart, and God is God of Arsh Azim and Arsh A'zam”,” he mentioned.
