AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A pilgrim house has been opened in the border area of Mirjaveh, southeastern Iran, by Astan Quds Razavi to expand service rendering to the pilgrims of Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad and Imam Hussein holy shrine in Karbala during the days of Arbaeen.
This house has been built on a land area as large as 60,000 square meters, with 5,100 square meters of buildup and was officially opened in the presence of Hoj. Ahmad Marvi, the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi and some officials of Sistan and Baluchestan province.
Every year, a large number of Pakistani pilgrims enter Iran through the Mirjaveh border for Arbaeen pilgrimage and also to visit Mashhad and Imam Reza holy shrine. The house is now ready to offer services to these pilgrims.
“Today, this pilgrim house will be used with good welfare facilities to serve Pakistani pilgrims, so that they will stay for refreshment before continuing their journey with double energy to visit the holy city of Mashhad,” said Hoj. Marvi.
He stated that in honoring the pilgrims of Imam Reza (AS), there is no distinction in rendering services for pilgrims of different nationality, ethnicity, language, culture, and religion. “Everyone who steps into the holy shrine is a guest of the Imam and it is our duty to respect them in the best way possible.”
According to Marvi, the pilgrim house which has the capacity to host 3,000 people, will also offer services to the people in the region.
Astan Quds Razavi is the body in charge of Imam Reza holy shrine in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
