Iran sends humanitarian aid to victims of Daesh attack on Kabul military hospital

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): An Iranian plane carrying humanitarian aid has landed in Kabul airport. The plane carries humanitarian supplies to the families of victims of a recent Daesh attack on a military hospital in the Afghan capital.

As Afghans witness their most difficult days, the 12th round of Iranian aid to Afghanistan arrived in Kabul. These batches, including five tons of medicines and five tons of food are meant to treat injuries and be distributed to the families of victims of Deash terrorist group attack on Sardar Mohammad Dawod Khan hospital in Kabul.

Taliban officials welcome emergency aid to the country and thank those who stay by the Afghan's side in the darkest days. People suffering from poverty and difficulties await more help from world countries.

At least 25 people were killed and more than 50 wounded when Daesh terrorist gunmen attacked the 400-bed Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan hospital after two heavy explosions at the site in central Kabul. Daesh attacks come as hunger crises are looming in the country.

Some countries including Iran have been sending shipments of aid. However, to address the problem of hunger in Afghanistan, more international assistance is needed.
