Senior Shia cleric: Proximity tourism to foil anti-Iran propaganda

Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed regret over the hostile propaganda against Iran proposing proximity tourism as a way to foil the Iranophobia sentiments.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought expressed regret over the hostile propaganda against Iran proposing proximity tourism as a way to foil the Iranophobia sentiments.

Sheikh Hamid Shahriari, met with the representative of the Supreme Leader in Sistan and Baluchistan province stressing that the new Islamic civilization will not materialize unless with cooperation of Shia and Sunni communities.
 
He noted that proximity tourism with Pakistan, India and Lebanon has been discussed though postponed due to the pandemic infection.
 
“In proximity tourism, grand scholars will be chosen to visit the scientific centers and seminaries in a bid to promote compassion and solidarity in the world of Islam” said the cleric and highlighted the role of proximity tourism in boosting Islamic unity.
 
Top scholar expressed regret over anti-Iran propaganda in western tribunes and vowed that proximity tourism could foil such hostile propaganda.
 
Sheikh Shahriari said,” 20 countries across the globe are on the list to send their scholars every season for meeting with Iranian clerics and visit seminaries in our country in line with boosting solidarity and also attract foreign investors.”
 
He highlighted the role of the University of Islamic Denominations in promoting proximity tourism and providing the grounds for advancement of Sistan and Baluchistan province.
 
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought reiterated the natural resources and potentialities in Sistan and Baluchistan and called for moves to help the Sunni community to become independent.
