AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The executive director of Pakistan’s National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) voiced its readiness to develop cooperation with Iran in Quranic fields.
Talha Ali Kushvaha visited the Iranian Cultural Center in Islamabad discussed collaboration in Quranic and cultural fields with Iran’s Cultural Attaché Ehsan Khazaei.
In the meeting, Kushvaha highlighted the Islamic Republic of Iran’s good experiences in the field of Quranic activities and said the Lok Virsa is ready to hold Quran teaching classes in cooperation with Iran to enhance the skills of Pakistani Qaris and memorizers who take part in international Quran competition.
He added that given the coronavirus pandemic, the Lok Virsa’s activities were mostly organized virtually but now it plans to launch in-person cultural and arts programs again, calling for the Iranian Cultural Center’s cooperation in this regard.
Khazaei, for his part, said there are many grounds for cultural cooperation between the two countries.
He also referred to the Quranic activities of the center and said it is ready to invite top Iranian Qari Karim Mansouri to hold Quranic programs in Pakistan.
