A poetry festival was held in the square between the Two Holy Shrines yesterday evening, Sunday (17 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1443 AH) corresponding to (October 24, 2021), to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), under the slogan (From Mohammad to the Mahdi; one lantern of light), and a group of poets and Rawadeed participated in it.
In an atmosphere of joy and pleasure, near the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), the festival activities began by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, followed by poems of love for the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and in commemoration with his great role in guiding humanity from the darkness of ignorance and misguidance to the light of knowledge and faith. A part of those poems were dedicated to recall the birth anniversary of Imam as-Sadeq (peace be upon him).
This celebration included many poems that demonstrated the extent of the believers' love and attachment to their master; the greatest Messenger (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq and the Ahl al-Bayt in general (peace be upon them), by following their path and striving to reviving their matter, and bringing joy to the heart of the Master of Time and Order (Allah hasten his holy reappearance).
