Unity conference of Islamic scholars held in Pakistan’s Karachi

Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan’s southern city of Karachi has organized an Islamic unity conference to mark the Unity Week and birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Culture Center of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan’s southern city of Karachi has organized an Islamic unity conference to mark the Unity Week and birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Hassan Nourian, Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Kamran Pezeshki, Director of Iran’s Culture Center, staff of Iranian mission, officials of the educational complex and schools of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the subcontinent, cultural, academic and media personalities and prominent Shiite and Sunni scholars attended the event in the port city.

Explaining the celebration of Unity Week, the speakers discussed the role of Imam Khomeini in the awakening of the Islamic Ummah and the need for the Islamic world to be vigilant against the conspiracies of global arrogance against the Muslim Ummah in the present era.

The ethics and manners of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), the need for unity among Islamic sects, avoiding differences, defending the Palestinians, condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime and the reasons for promoting the evil phenomenon of Islamophobia in the West were other topics that Iranian and Pakistani personalities discussed on the occasion.

At the end of the ceremony, prizes were awarded to the winners of the Holy Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition, which was held in August this year under the management of Iranian Culture Center in Sindh.
