Muslims in Kashmir mark birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) / +Photos

Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (pbuh) was celebrated with religious fervour across Kashmir on Tuesday amid COVID-19 pandemic with largest day-long religious gatherings held at the revered shrine of Hazratbal where the Holy Relic of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was displayed for the devotees after every prayer of the day.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (pbuh) was celebrated with religious fervour across Kashmir on Tuesday amid COVID-19 pandemic with largest day-long religious gatherings held at the revered shrine of Hazratbal where the Holy Relic of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was displayed for the devotees after every prayer of the day.

Thousands of devotees thronged Dargah Hazratbal for congregational prayers and had glimpses of the Holy Relic.

The official said that special arrangements were put in place for the devotees to celebrate the day.

The day marks the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and is observed annually on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awal-the third month of the Islamic calendar.

The official said that religious processions, special prayer meetings, and Seerat Conferences were organized across Kashmir to celebrate the day.
