Regarding the message of Arbaeen, the Omani pilgrim said, “The message of Arbaeen is to tell the world that true Islam is in the school of Imam Hussain (a.s.).”
An Omani pilgrim of Arbaeen Walk said, “Imam Hussain (a.s.) revived all humanity. Our presence on the Arbaeen Walk is the least we can do. By attending this Walk, we also sympathize with the Prophet and his AhlulBayt (a.s.).”
“I have a strange feeling about attending the great Arbaeen Walk. This feeling is so great and wonderful that it cannot be expressed in words,” said Tariq al-Lawati on his feelings about attending the Arbaeen Walk, in an interview with ABNA.
The 50-year-old pilgrim described the lessons of the Karbala uprising as having good morals, being honest with the people, and standing up to oppression.
“The message of Arbaeen is to tell the world that true Islam is in the school of Imam Hussain (a.s.). Given what has happened in the world, some people think that Muslims are terrorists. But in Arbaeen we say that Imam Hussain (a.s.) introduced the correct and true Islam to the world,” said the Omani pilgrim, regarding the message of Arbaeen.
“Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, a small number of Omani Shiites took part in this year’s Arbaeen Walk,” said Tariq al-Lawati, stating that he had no problem obtaining a visa.
“We, all the Arbaeen pilgrims and the Iraqi people who host us do not feel tired. Arbaeen ceremony days are unique, and we should all add to the glory of this ceremony with unity and empathy,” he concluded in the end.
