AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a message, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World, Assembly, expressed his condolences on demise of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli.

In a message, Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World, Assembly, expressed his condolences on demise of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli.

Ayatollah Ramazani’s message is as follows:

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

«يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَات» (المجادلة: 58)

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

“Allah will exalt those who believe among you, and those who have knowledge, to high ranks.” (Al-Mujadila: 58)

The demise of the divine scholar and sage, and Polymath Allameh, Ayatollah Hassan Hassanzadeh Amoli, saddened the lovers, seekers of knowledge, wisdom, mysticism and Islamic spirituality.

A unique and comprehensive figure in Rational Sciences and Narrative Knowledges, he was proficient in Tafsir, Fiqh, Osul, hadith, Arabic vocabulary, literature, philosophy, theology, ethics, mysticism, medicine, mathematics, astronomy, numbers and horizons, Zij, Jafr, and Occult. He was fluent in several living languages, wrote in them, and created meaningful poetry and prose.

The dominance of that pious scholar over the now-abandoned sciences was such that no other figure so comprehensive in these disciplines could be found today, all over the world.

In addition, what made the late Allameh Hassanzadeh more distinctive was the “combination of knowledge and practice”. This feature attracted young clerics and students, who seek pure knowledge, to that mystic. It is very unlikely that seminaries will soon be able to train such a comprehensive and unique figure.

Of course, his numerous and diverse works in various sciences are a precious treasure that every student and thinker can use.

His support for the late Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and the Islamic Revolution, his presence on the fronts during the years of holy defense as a simple volunteer soldier, and his constant support for Velayat-e-Faqih and the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, were manifestations of “the association of beneficial and luminous knowledge with the Akbar and Asghar Jihad (battle against the internal enemy, that is, carnal interests, and battle against the external enemy)”.

I offer my condolences on this irreparable loss to Imam Mahdi (a.s.), as well as the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the grand sources of emulation, seminaries and universities, those interested in mysticism and divine knowledges, the martyr-nurturing people of Amol and all students, enthusiasts and relatives, his acquaintances of and relatives, especially virtuous and learned children of the that blessed deceased.

That great scholar was the lover of the Infallibles (a.s.) in the true sense of the word. An example of this loveand devotion has been manifested in his book “Fass Al-Fatemi” dedicated to the great position of Lady Fatemeh Zahra (a.s.).

Therefore, in the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (a.s.), I ask God Almighty to reunite the holy soul of the late Allameh Hassanzadeh with the Infallible AhlulBayt (a.s.) - especially Sayed Al-Shuhada (a.s.) - and to provide patience for his family and relatives.

وإنا لله وإنا إلیه راجعون

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him do we indeed return” (Holy Quran 2:156)
