Pres. Raisi: Ashura symbol of justice, anti-oppression; Arba'een procession symbol of love, affection for all good things

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Raisi stressed the need to serve and preserve the dignity of the pilgrims of Imam Hussein (AS) and said, "There should be no problem for the return of pilgrims".

Speaking on Sunday at the cabinet meeting, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the importance of the mourning of Imam Hussein (AS), and said, "Ashura and Arba'een must remain alive and dynamic because it is a manifestation of justice, anti-oppression and Quranic right-seeking, and the Arba'een procession is truly a symbol of love and affection for all the good in the world".

The President emphasised on providing services to the pilgrims of Arba'een and said, "The related agencies, both in the capital and in the provinces, must provide services to the pilgrims around the clock, especially in the field of nutrition, transportation and health".

Referring to the coincidence of Arba'een with the World Tourism Day, Ayatollah Raisi said, "The Arba'een Procession is a manifestation of pilgrimage, political and devotional tourism when everybody comes from all over the world, and this glorious presence should be introduced to the world".

Mr Raisi stated that the tourism industry has been severely damaged during the Corona period, and expressed hope that the industry will prosper by reducing the consequences of the disease.

In another part of his speech, referring to the achievements of the Ilam trip, the President addressed the cabinet members and said, "We must take care of the implementation of provincial travel approvals so that the effects of the trips are tangible for the people".

Ayatollah Raisi further referred to organising the employment of human resources and the need for change in the administrative system of the country and said, "In that matter, all employees of the organs, including in the field of payments, training and increasing productivity, should be monitored and supervised".

Ayatollah Raisi added, "In areas where public vaccination is fully performed, face-to-face education should be provided in accordance with health protocols".
