AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Ahlul Bait Foundation of South Africa condoles demise of Ayatollah Hassanzadeh Amoli.
The text of the message is as follow:
In the name of the God
Ayatollah Hasan Hasanzadeh Amuli left this temporary world to the eternal abode on 25 September 2021 at the advanced age of 92.
Besides initially being a student of great scholars like Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Amuli, Ayatollah Hakim Ilahi Qumshe'i and Allamah Mirza Abu al-Hasan al-Sha'rani, he was also a disciple of the famous Allamah Tabatabai for 17 years.
He excelled in his study of the intellectual sciences and was particularly known for his deep philosophical understanding as well as practical mysticism. At the same time, he had great respect for the current leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
In an inspirational extract from his early life which is written in his autobiography it states:
"When I was fourteen, I was struck with a Divine illuminative thunder and a shining fire that was following me. This secret unfolded as the Quranic verse says:
إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَعَلِّي آتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى النَّارِ هُدًى
'Verily I perceive a fire, happily I may bring unto you a brand from it, or I find at the fire some guidance' (Surah Taha Verse 10)
And this fire was like a light that shone in front of me and guided me towards seeking Divine knowledge...."
May Almighty Allah receive him into His Infinite Mercy, raise his rank and place him in the close company of Prophet Muhammad (sawa) and the Holy Ahlul Bait (a.s) whom he served in his entire life.
