AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is to receive on Saturday (today) the Iranian athletes who participated in the Olympics and Paralympic games in Tokyo.
According to the Official Website of Ayatollah Khamenei, this meeting will be held in Imam Khomeini Hussainiyyah with observing all health protocols.
Ayatollah Khamenei, on September 4, 2021 issued a message of appreciation addressed to the Iranian Paralympic athletes for their victories in 2020 Tokyo competitions.
I hereby sincerely appreciate the proud Paralympic athletes, who once again entered joy in the hearts of the Iranian nation by winning medals, wrote Ayatollah Khamenei in his appreciation message.
The Iranian sixty-two member Paralympics team ended its work in Paralympic 2020, after gaining 12 gold, 11 silver, and a bronze medal, ranking the 12th in the world.
