Photos: Replacing flags of Imam al-Hussain and al-Abbas holy shrines on the eve of Muharram 1443

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): After the Maghreb and Isha prayers of this day, Monday (29th Dhu al-Hijjah 1442 AH) corresponding to (August 9, 2021), the two holy domes of the shrine of Imam al-Hussain and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) were replaced from the red to the black flags of mourning, marking the beginning of the Ashura mourning season, which first day will be tomorrow, Tuesday, according to the sighting of the crescent from the office of His Eminence Sayed al-Sistani for the holy month of Muharram (1443 AH).
