Third Festival of Religion and Cyberspace to be held (+ Poster)

The Office of Islamic Studies on Cyberspace is holding the third Festival of Religion and Cyberspace with the topic “Solving key Cyberspace Issues”.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Office of Islamic Studies on Cyberspace is holding the third Festival of Religion and Cyberspace with the topic “Solving key Cyberspace Issues”.

This festival would be in cooperation withthe Management center of women seminaries, Baqir al-Olum University, and the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute.

 The festival will be organized around 15 main research axes:

  1. Analyzing the relationship between system of Wilayat-e faqih (guardianship of the Islamic jurist) and anti-government technologies: A case study of Blockchain…
  2. Jurisprudential analysis of the right to anonymity and its limits in Islam, its relationship to the identity of individuals, entities, and activities in cyberspace
  3. Philosophical-jurisprudential analysis of ownership in cyberspace
  4. Philosophical-jurisprudential analysis of the concept of property (al-mal) in cyberspace
  5. Jurisprudential-social study of the principle and methods of creating or appearing in social networks with regard to the existence of opportunities and threats together; in three situations: the domination of the enemy, the domination of the Islamic government and the balance
  6. Jurisprudential analysis of basic values of Islamic economics in cyberspace, a comparative study of Islamic cryptocurrency
  7. Philosophical-jurisprudential analysis of digital arts
  8. Investigating the limits of policy-making, regulation, legislation and criminalization in cyberspace governance from the jurisprudential perspective
  9. Jurisprudential analysis of the limits and methods of monitoring cyberspace considering different layers of users in cyberspace
  10. Possibility of defining and limits of privacy in cyberspace from the perspective of jurisprudence
  11. Jurisprudential rules and principles for the interaction of Islamic system with governments, companies, and other peoples in cyberspace
  12. Jurisprudential analysis of the conflict between security and globalization in the age of cyberspace
  13. Analyzing the philosophical-moral-jurisprudential limits of artificial intelligence in Islam
  14. Comparison between jurisprudential approaches (individual, governmental, and systematization jurisprudence) in dealing with new phenomena, a case study of cryptocurrency
  15. Critical comparison of negative and positive viewpoints in approaches, movements and behaviors in dealing with cyberspace from the perspective of philosophy of jurisprudence

 

Deadline:

The deadline for abstract submission will be May 21, 2021.

The authors who have been accepted their papers have the opportunity to send the full file of their work to the secretariat of the festival by September 22, 2021

 

Page limits:

  1. Works should be written in the "word" file.
  2. All references should be presented in endnote.
  3. There are no restrictions in terms of number of pages.

 

Working Language:

The working language of the festival will be English, Arabic and Persian.

 

Requirements for articles:

  1. Articles should be innovative. (New theories with wide applications, proposing new virtual structures with operational capability)
  2. Paying attention to the future of cyberspace and taking into account the progress of this technology and the competition of powers in it.
  3. Paying attention to possible and existing competing theories with a critical approach
  4. Operational suggestions for policymaking or legislation in the conclusion
