AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine’s servants are distributing 888 thousand food packages among poor families of the country in the fourth stage of the Campaign of Kindness in the holy month of Ramadan, says CEO of Karamat Razavi Foundation Mohammad Hossein Ostad Aqa in a ceremony participated by Astan Quds Razavi chief custodian.
Ostad Aqa who was addressing Imam Reza (AS) servants through a nationwide video conference, stated that the move is being carried out by 111 thousand servants of Imam Reza (AS) from all over the country. “The packages include basic commodities in a food basket such as rice, oil, tomato paste, macaroni, and grains”.
Ostad Aqa added: “The move is being done in 28 provinces and it will continue up to the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS)”.
As the keynote speaker of the ceremony, AQR chief custodian of Hoj. Ahmad Marvi said: “One of the main points behind Ramadan is getting to know about hardships of the poor families. One who fails to understand problems of the poor cannot help the needy people. One of the blessing of Ramadan is to support the poor and the deprived walks of life; we have to make our fasts perfect with acts of this kind”.
He added: “One aspect of honoring and respecting the needy people is to pay enough attention to the quality of the offered items; therefore, best and high quality items have to be given to the poor people”.
According to the chief custodian of AQR, the national campaign is being done under the holy name of Imam Reza (AS). “Conducts of the Infallible Imams (AS) particularly those of Hazrat Fatima Reza (AS) must be obvious in words and actions, behavior, and preparation of food packages”.
