Hezbollah member: No optimism for US after Soleimani assassination

Lebanese cleric noted that the United States will definitely not find happiness, in contrast to what the then secretary of state Mike Pompeo had vowed on a better world after General Soleimani assassination.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sayyid Sami Khadra, member of Hazbollah political council, opened the second panel of international conference on General Soleimani and new Islamic civilization held by Iranian Cultural Followers on Monday February 15 stressing that the commander of IRGC Quds Force, General Qassem Soleimani turned to a global figure and his path became popular since US drone attack targeting the great commander and his companions.

Lebanese cleric noted that the United States will definitely not find happiness, in contrast to what the then secretary of state Mike Pompeo had vowed on a better world after General Soleimani assassination.

He said," General Soleimani's popularity went beyond his country because of his commitment, endeavors and modesty."

He hailed the top counter-terrorism figure for unifying the Islamic nation and injecting hope for victory, the same factor which brought victory in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen.

Seyyed Sami Khadra stressed," The path of General Soleimani, the resistance and Islamic Revolution are all in line with the path of the Almighty God" and noted," General Soleimani is not an individual but a school of thought and a lifestyle."

Member of Lebanon's Hezbollah political council made the comments at the opening of the virtual international conference held on General Soleimani and new Islamic civilization.
