AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the occasion of the anniversary of the martyrdom of Hazrat Zahra (s.a.), mourning ceremonies were held at the Ahlul Bait Mosque in Cape Town in South Africa.
The ceremonies were held for three nights, from Thursday January 14 to Saturday January 16.
The ceremonies were broadcast live on the facebook.com/Afosa14 .
The ceremonies were held every night at 20:45.
Mr. Khaled Sayyed, people's representative in the Western Cape State Assembly, spoke at the first night ceremony and Hajj Bashir Rahim delivered speech at the second night and Sayyed Aftab Haidar delivered speech at the final night of the ceremonies.
It is worth mentioning that with the beginning of the second wave of the new coronavirus epidemic (Covid-19) in South Africa, all schools, universities, mosques, churches, religious and devotional centers, gathering places, places of worship, etc. are closed from a month ago until now throughout the South Africa.
Curfews are also in place in South African cities from 21:00 to 5:00 AM.
The only permissible group ceremonies are funerals and burials with a maximum attendance of fifty.
